It’s said that Generation Y, the Generation of Divorce, has a particularly hard time letting go of childish pastimes and accepting maturity, and if that’s so then this movie will serve as the perfect milemarker – an elegy for childhood as we leave that world behind, open our eyes, and accept the imperfect future. It’s both connected to and distinctly set apart from the original work, and I am glad both have been made.
